Be it an identity or promotion, 3M is considered to be one of the most preferred graphic material vendors for the Indian Railways. Duronto Express recently inaugurated by Union Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee was wrapped with graphics printed on special 3M Digital Printing Media. The trains are projected as the ‘fastest’ in India and the designs on them reflect a perfect identity of the purpose. The ‘technical specification’ for the media for this prestigious project was clearly laid down by RDSO (Research Design & Standard Organisation) under the Ministry of Railways including the highest standard of safety, durability and weathering resistance.

3M Digital Printing Media passes all the tests and a special team of ‘applicators’ trained by the company deployed it to the coaches of Duronto Express, ensuring a perfect finish and desired looks. This special media from 3M has also been used before in several other train graphic projects of the Indian Railways viz Airtel branding on Rajdhani Express, The Science Express and several advertisement projects on locals trains all across the country.
